Enlaces(Connections) is a project that starts with the construction of a versatile, spatial and continuous object. The idea was to create a piece with possibilities for interaction; there was an interest in achieving multiple formal and usage possibilities that could establish a plurality of contents, that is to say, not only that it could change its form in time and space, but also that it could establish different discourses, playing with the polysemy of the object. In this way, the project resulted in a work composed of five parts: an interactive mobile sculpture, four photographic series of documentation, ten video-performances, a script and a sound archive.

The photographic documentation series reflect the research carried out with the object in different contexts, both formal and spatial, as well as in terms of use. The series The autonomous object is a series of 34 photographs that study all the formal and spatial possibilities of the object, whether in contraction or extension, where it establishes its own rules, restrictions and impossibilities, becoming uncontrollable, unstable, uncertain and fragile. The series Body explorations consists of 23 photographs that establish a relationship between the object and the naked body, where four approaches are worked on: the clothing, the house, the nest and the traces. The idea of working with the nude has to do with the body stripped of the cultural identity conferred by clothing, in order to obtain a vulnerable, fragile and exposed body, ready to clothe itself in new relationships. Fourteen photographs belong to the series Outdoor space explorations , which establish a relationship of measurement with the surroundings through the total stretching of the piece both horizontally and vertically. And finally, Interior Spatial Explorations is a series of 35 photographs that relate the sequential discovery of the structure in two interiors of the home: the bathroom and the bedroom.

In the videoperformance it appears mainly how the body manipulates the object by performing various actions such as sewing, pushing, throwing, rolling, folding, tangling, destroying, crossing, etc., thus aiming to discover the limits of the object in relation to the body and the limits of the body in relation to the object, the body becomes the measure of things in order to become aware again of the embodied body, being actions that speak of violence and absurdity in contemporary society. They are repetitive actions, which have to do with everyday life, questioning those normative aspects related to the behaviour of the subject and the meaning that the subject gives to his actions.

Finally, the aim is to involve the audience in the experience, where the spectators themselves become active bodies by performing this series of actions. In this way, the spectator not only contemplates but also tests their limits and measures themselves in relation to the object. For this purpose, a script of instructions was established.

Instructions for use:
1. untangle
2. stretch
3. roll up
4. reduce as much as possible
5. wrap
6. roll/push
7. pass through
8. throw
