Precarious Shelter, 2018. Installation: iron structure, silk, cotton, text and light, 150 x 130 x 220 cm.
Precarious Shelter invites the viewer to enter and read in the intimacy of the skin of the shelter. Written, a series of thoughts, dreams, sensations, emotions, accumulated over the years. The texts are taken from various notebooks that I keep. To work with the concept of refuge is to reflect on the space of security and protection to which we turn in certain hostile moments. Today, where do we take refuge? For me, the only possible and unequivocal refuge for man is the word.
